Varro Vooglaid

Chairman of the Board of the Estonian Foundation for the Protection of the Family and Tradition

Varro Vooglaid has studied law at the University of Tartu (BA) and the University of Helsinki (LL.M), where he is undergoing his doctoral studies. He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Tartu, where he teaches the philosophy of law as well as law and ethics. Previously, he has lectured at the University of Tartu and the University of Helsinki on public international law, the law of treaties and human rights. He has worked as a researcher at the Centre of Excellence on Global Governance Studies at the University of Helsinki. He is also one of the founders and the chairman of the board of the Tallinn based Foundation for the Protection of Family and Tradition. Varro Vooglaid is a Catholic, he is married and has six children.
